Hope you are all doing well tonight.
I am adding a part 2 to this story because almost immediately after I posted it, something amazing happened.
First, my oldest brother called to see how I was doing. I was so surprised. He said he felt bad that he hadn’t called sooner. It really made my day.
Then, the next day, my sister and my mom showed up out of the blue. My sister said she’d tried to come sooner, but mom wasn’t feeling well enough.
I hadn’t realized how much I loved my only sister and missed her until I saw her. I don’t know what I was thinking. After my mom passes, I know I’ll need her even more.
I’m so grateful to have these crazy, wonderful people in my life. I will never stop loving them or needing them. No matter what. I know that now.
Thank you for listening, and for letting me vent. I’m getting better day by day and should be back on my feet in another week or so.
Stay strong and beautiful, and don’t ever think that people don’t care about you. Just remember that we’re all going through our own issues.
